Charts - Naming Columns.

I have information scattered around the spreadsheet. I want to create a
column chart with certain information from this speadsheet.

I clicked on the chart wizard button, clicked on the column chart and then I
clicked on the series tab. I started adding series, typed in the name and
clicked on a value of the spreadsheet.

What I want is for the names that I typed to appear on the x axis, under
each column that they represent. How can I do this?? I've looked for hours!!!

Hi,

What you need is the X-axis Labels box of the Series tab. However, if your
data is spead all over the place then you may want to consider 1. adding Data
Labels, 2. Creating a single area where all the data is accumulated from "all
over the place" and then plotting this area.

One way to add data labels is to right click the series and choose Format
Data Series, Data Labels tab,...

If this helps, please click the Yes button.

Cheers,

Thanks Shane, this gives the name of each column on top of the column or
inside the chart, what I want is to have the name under the x axis, just
under the column, so I can also align it any way I want...
