Charts in Detail section

Hi,

I've been working on creating chart reports and last week got over the
hurdle of getting the proper data to actually feed into the charts.

My next dilemma, which is somewhat harder, I don't know how to go about.

Say I have 100 series of data, where each series # 1-100 has data for the
last 3 years on both an absolute and relative basis. I can create the 2
charts (one abs, other rel) where they are side by side on the report on the
chart data feeds into the report data through the link of child/master fields.

What I would like to do is have the absolute chart above the relative, but
have more than 1 series appear in the detail section. This way I can fit 4
charts per page (and if this works, maybe even get to 6 - 3x2 or more).

If the report is fed by unique series ID's, then for the right half of the
detail the report still thinks it's the first series and that half is blank.
On Page 2, the left half is blank and the right has the charts. Does this
make sense?

I tried a subreport, but then the link child/master is still an issue.

Is this doable? Does it need to be coded to work? If so, anyone have any
sample code to help me?

Thank you in advance,

kohai

Hi there

Just a thought as I don't use charts in Access but have you tried increasing
the umber of columns?

Thanks for the tip. I was able to get it working by adding some fields to a
table and making a cross-tab query.
