Charts and fonts

I have a problem with my fonts when it comes to charts. I don't have a wide
screen. When I'm editing my charts, the fonts look fine, but when I finish
editing the fonts look messed up - with the spacing all wrong. I've tried
everything I could but nothing seems to help and the charts don't look good
at all.

I guess you will have to add the text separately. Add a new textbox, then
type the text in there.

Thanks for ruling out the wide screen issue.

Try right-clicking the chart and choosing Format Object. What % size does it
say on the Size tab? I suspect it's not even, whatever it is.

If that's the case, double-click the chart to open it, then drag the
herringboned edge a bit to resize the chart -- which resets it to 100% by
100% at whatever size you've dragged to. Before clicking outside the chart,
right-click the chart area, choose Format Chart Area, and on the font tab,
uncheck AutoScale. Then select an appropriate font size, close out of that
dialog, and click outside the chart to close it.

That process will usually make your fonts look much better.
