characters with accents submitted in forms and sent via email

We have several web sites built using FrontPage 2003 that use forms. The
form results are emailed to users. Accents on characters appear fine when
entering data INTO the forms, but do not appear in the received emails
containing the form data. Is there a way to ensure that all accents entered
are received? Is this a FrontPage issue, an email server issue, or a
problem with the client receiving the email?

Thanks in advance!

It is a character encoding issue. The workaround will depend on
combination of factors, including the server that hosts the site, the
sender's machine, and the receiver's machine.

You can try setting the webpages that uses these forms to Unicode
encoding instead of the default Windows. If that doesn't solve it for
you, try other options.
