Changthe the Global catalog dc to stand alone server

Hello ,

I got this following configuration, 1 server upgraded from
a NT4 PDC server to W2K SP4 and a 2k standalone server.

I need to make the actual stand alone server the GCDC and
the actual Domain Controller to a stand alone server.

Do I just have to make a dcpromo on the stand alone and
then another dcpromo on the DC, or are there other things
that I should worry ?

That is the theory, yes; I would be careful though and

you might want to manually have your "new DC" sieze the 5
FSMO roles prior to demoting your old DC.
