Changing Word format to jpg?

W

Walter R.

I did a screen capture of a video image (Alt+Print Screen), showing a photo
plus some text.

I saved the screen capture as a Word document. The image has a lot of other
text on the screen. How can I isolate the photo from all the other clutter
on my screen capture.

If I right click on the photo, I do not get the usual "Save Picture as..."
dialogue.

How can I transfer the photo in the screen capture to a jpg format? I would
like to massage it. Or, can I change the whole Word document to a jpg
format, after all, it is only an image?

One. You did not save the file as a word document. You pasted it into a word document.
Two. Everything you captured is a single picture in the word document, including the text.

You should paste it into MS Paint. Then either edit it there, or save it as a jpg file and edit in
a photo editor program.
You should be able to crop just the picture you want.
Then you can put just that picture into a word document.
Bye the bye, word does have a tool bar (pictures) that will let you crop the picture, but the bytes
you crop off are still carried in the word document file.
