changing user password on server.

Poorav

Hi,

I have a Win 2K server and Win XP home machines connected
to the server. For each user on the network i have set up
an account on the server, which will enable them to access
resources on the server. Is there a way, the users can
changes this password from the XP machine?

Thanks.

Is this setup as a domain environment? If so, the XP user can login to the
domain and then use CTRL+ALT+DEL, then select change password.

If it's NOT a domain, then if the user has admin access to W2k, use Computer
management, connect to w2k machine, change password from local users&
groups.
