Hello all:
I use Outlook 2003 at work, and I subscribe to a ListServ mailing list.
My rules have all of the messages from this list put into a separate
folder.
Within this folder, I like to group messages by conversation threads.
The only problem is, when the messages arrive, for some reason there
usually is about 5 or 6 spaces at the front of the subject line.
Therefore, the threads end up being split into 2 separate threads: One
containing the original subject, and one containing the " Re:
<subject>".
I *think* this is occurring as a result of the preceding spaces in the
subject line before the "re:".
Is there any way to (automatically) modify the subject lines as they
arrive so the messages are grouped properly? All of the messages with
preceding spaces contain exactly 5 spaces before the actual subject.
(And some messages contain no extra spaces in the subject line,
confusing things more!)
Thanks for your help!
