Changing SID

Most papers I have read say you should change the SID on
all your computers?? Some papers say you dont need to
change the SID?? Let me hear from you???

When computers are rolled out in a company by using a disk image, they all
end up with the same SID. This is sometimes seen as a security risk since
many machines appear on some level to be the same. Some disk imaging
software allows the SID to be changed for each machine, but this is not
always the case.

There is a freeware SID changer from sysinternals:
