Changing my display back

C

CGS

Hello:

I'm having a problem with my display on my monitor, is not displaying as
usual. My view went from landscape to portrait, and I can't figure out how
it got that way, or how to change it back. So if someone could guide me on
how to change my display back to landscape that would really help.

Thanks

Hi,

You might check in the Control Panel under Tablet PC Settings, see if you
can change the orientation on the Display tab.

On some systems ctrl+alt+up arrow will rotate the screen as well.

Some laptops have an FN+Fkey that will rotate the screen.

Also right click the desktop and choose personalize. Click on Display
Settings, then on Advanced as some video card drivers have this option as
well.

Hi CGS,

To change this, right click a blank spot on your desktop. In the menu that
appears, select 'Personalize'. This brings up a window headed 'Personalize
appearance and sounds'. On this page, click 'Display Settings'. On the window
that pops up, click 'Advanced Settings...'. On the next page, click on the
tab that corresponds with your graphics adapter (in my case ,this is 'GeForce
7600 GT). On this page, click 'Start the NVIDIA Control Panel'. On this page,
under 'Select a Task...', click to expand the options under 'Display' (if not
already expanded). Select 'Rotate display'. On this page, under the heading
'I would like my display to be rotated...', select the first option, 'No
rotation (Landscape)' and then click 'Apply'. Finally, close all windows
opened during this procedure. Note that this procedure is for Nvidia graphics
cards, but the same principals should be applicable to other makes.

Mr. Rogers:

Thanks for your help, the Ctrl+alt+up arrow fixed the problem. This really
makes me happy, thanks I was going crazy here. I guess "Just another
beatiful day in the neighborhood" lol.

Thanks good day.

Mr. Dwarf:

Thanks also for your help, I said to myself let me start with the first
helping hand, but I'm sure your help would have helped also.

Thanks guys have a quality day.

P.S. I haven't restarted my Laptop yet, I hope it does not do it again.

On another note, let me share how this happened........

I was watching a movie (streaming) and I fell asleep, when I woke up it was
like that, so I really don't know how it happend in the first place, I guess
it would be a mystery.

Peace!
