Changing Headers & Footers in Single Document

I am trying to consolidate a few documents into one so I can mailmerge
everythign at once. Some of the documents have different headers and footers.
Does anyone know how I can deal with this using Word 2007?
Is this something that Sections might handle?

Are you wanting to preserve the headers and footers in the individual
documents or have a consistent headers and footers throughout? If the
former, you will need section breaks (see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/WorkWithSections.htm). If the latter,
you can just paste or insert the documents consecutively, without breaks,
but the final document will acquire the header and footer of the document at
the end of the file, so you may need to change them.
