Changing font color for use with icons

T

The Old Timer

I have lots of icons on the desktop. The icon always have the file name
displayed as white & against the background of the desktop is often very
difficult to see. Can I change the color of the font used with icons &
would doing so create any new problems?

Greetings:

The icons font colour can not be changed only the size.. it can be made to
change
colour as you select it... you can also change the desktop to a light colour
and the
font will change to dark automatically, In the Desktop\Right click on a
blank space\
select; Properties\next; Appearance\next; Advanced Options\in Elements,(drop
down
window)select Icons\in Font change the size and click B to make the file
name be
displayed in Bold ....

To change the selected icon file name to any colour:
In the Desktop\Right click on a blank space\select; Properties\next;
Appearance\next;
Advanced Options\in Elements,(drop down window)select; Selected Elements\in
Font
change the size...

If you change the Selected Elements to bold fonts, you will also change the
File Menus to Bold,
which may also be convenient for you.

No problems can be created other than forgetting what changes you made in
case you
want to revert to previous settings, my advice is to make notes of every
step you take so
you can change back the settings anytime.....
