Changing Domain name and retaining local settings...

I need to change a domain name and would like to retain
the users' local settings on their PCs.

When I ran a test login into the new domain, I was not
able to use their old "Documents and Settings" and do not
know how to fix that.

Can anybody help? I have about 20 workstations.

The link below will tell you how to copy a profile on a W2K box while logged
on as an administrator. Be sure to give the proper user permissions to the
profile also when you select target profile to copy too. --- Steve

You can use MultiNetwork Manager from GlobeSoft it has a
feature for sharing user profiles whan connecting to
different domains so that you can retain the desktop etc.
It works great
