Changing display name

Jeff

Hi there,

Does anyone know of a way to change the display name of a
user who sends email through Exchange 2003 using Outlook
2003? He wants to have it so that he logs in the the
domain using his user account logon, but when he sends
email to someone, he wants the display name (the name it
was sent from) to be a different name.

Thanks.

This is based on the full name of the user account. If you're changing this
afterwards make sure the X400/500 e-mail address also reflects the change of
the full name.

The logon name doesn't matter, but the display name is the display name is
the display name, so, no, sorry, unless you want to change it for everything
(including his sort order in the GAL). This should be standardized for your
company and not modified per user.
