changing display name on received emails

In the "From" field in my Inbox, I have received some emails from China.
The from field is displayed with some weird characters. Is there a way to
change the Display Name (i.e. the name displayed in the "From" field) for
all the emails from that email address?

I don't think you can control that. The sender determines what is in the
From field. What version of Outlook do you use? Outlook 2003 should be
able to handle Unicode characters in the subject.

I have outlook 2002. Seems crazy that the display name eecannot be
controlled. Depending on how the email is received or generated the display
name can be different for the same email address.
