Changing contrast in slide show when pack and go

I'm using Powerpoint 2003 with XP. I've got vacation photos and a video clip
in a slide show with background music. After I pack and go, when I view the
slide show on a different computer (also XP), the contrast of all of the
photos and the video clip have gotten darker. Example: on the original
video, you can very plainly see bugs/gnats/flies over a spot on the river,
but in the pack & go version the contrast is so dark all you can see is the
river. Something gets lost in the translation, so to speak.

Short of trying to adjusting contrast on the photos before inserting into
the slide show, any suggestions? Oh, BTW, over 90 slides in this file.

PowerPoint shouldn't be making any changes to the slides, images or videos ...
it seems more likely that the other computer's display is adjusted differently.

Try tweaking the display settings there (or if it's a laptop, plug it in rather
than run off battery as a test)

Example: on the original
