Hi,

how can I set the prompt permanently? I want prompt $P\$G$_:$S but when I
restart cmd.exe the prompt is reset.

Hi

1. Open "System" from the Control Panel.

2. Click "Advanced"->"Environment Variables".

3. Under "User variables for <user>" (or "System variables" if you
want it to apply for all users), create a new entry PROMPT with
the value $P\$G$_:$S
