On Windows XP Pro, we had to change the IP address of the machine. Now, we
can no longer access the shares on this machine from other systems in the
local-area network. We can access shares on a Windows Server 2003 machine
that had its IP address change, no problem there. We did not change the
computer name or any other aspect of the system. We restarted the machine,
no help. Is the IP address involved in the administration of shares in
Windows XP?
TIA
