Change / to - in a field

On a report in an unbound field I have:
=[SSN] & "-" & [TodaysDate]

Todays date is in the format 99/99/9999 is it possible to change it to this
99-99-9999 in this unbound text box?

Try...
=[SSN] & "-" & Format([TodaysDate],"mm-dd-yyyy")

I think you're confusing an date "InputMask" (99/99/9999) with a
date "Format" (like mm/dd/yy or dd-mm-yy, etc...)
