Change 'save as' default folder ???

I receive an excel file as an attachment in an outlook mail.
I open this attachment.
When I click on 'save as', the default 'save as' folder is a temporary
internet folder.

How can I change this default 'change as' folder?

Go to Tools, Options. Click on the tab marked 'General'.

Enter the destination in 'default file location'.

I know, but it's very time consuming.
Whan you click on 'save' it's saved in a temporary folder, and we (I'm
working in the IT dept of a bank) want to have it saved it in a
standard folder

And if you're not using xl2002, MS has a COM addin that's called Places.exe that
allows you to update the places list.

This almost solved our problem,
but there's still the issue that when you click 'save' it automatically
saves it in a temporary folder

If you click save, then excel saves it in place.

I don't think you can change this (and it would scare me if you could!).
