Change/Remove option missing

I was removing some old programs from my laptop, by using "My Computer"
- Add/Remove Programs, but now, the option to remove programs has
disappeared. When I click on "my computer", and then "Add/Remove
Programs", the list is populated, but the box on the right side that
allows the program to be removed is now gone. The only items that are
shown are:

Program Name
Size of Program
Last Date Used
Frequency of Use

What happened here I wonder? How can I get the option to return?

I'm not very computer savvy, so I need help.

Thanks,

Selena
