What she should change is to no longer scroll down to the bottom of her
reply message and start entering text there. There is no setting in Outlook
anywhere to select between top posting (her typing goes above your message)
and bottom posting (her typing goes below your message). Outlook will place
the text entry cursor at the top of the message. If she's NOT manually
scrolling to the bottom, she may have some add-in doing it for her; you
might ask her about that.
That's amazing... there's no way to make it properly quote a message? This
seems like too-obvious an oversight, so it must be done on purpose... though
I can't imagine what thought process would bring about such a conclusion. I'm
trying to get Outlook to work for me, and aside from some junk-mail filtering
problems, this is the most exasperating problem. I can't even get it to
insert the signature where the cursor is from the menu. I've never used a
client that was so configurable in most ways... and I've never used one that
could not properly place a signature at the end of the message.
It would not be so bad if top-posting did not make replies so hard to read
and like they come from an inconsiderate dolt.
