Change language in Windows XP Home edition

Hi, everybody! I have a question regarding the language in the menus and
dialogs in Windows XP Home edition. I have just purchased a laptop in the US,
which comes with Windows XP Home edition, and I just cannot find any way of
changing the language in the menus and dialogs.

I have seen plenty of downloads and patches for Windows XP Professional
edition, but acutally none for the Home edition.

Does anybody have any idea about how to change that?

Thanks very much,

Windows XP is written in specific language versions, therefore one
cannot change it from one language version to another. You'll need
to purchase a "Full Version" of Windows XP in the language version
you desire, reformat your drive and install it "clean".

Or if you have an available empty drive or partition, you can install
another "Full Version" of Windows XP in a different language version
and create a dual-boot configuration.

Hey, Carey! Thanks very much for your time and reply, it proves really
useful. Save me looking forever online for something that, actually, has no
solution.

Thanks very much and have a lovely weekend,

You cannot upgrade or convert from one language version of the OS
to another, so you'll have to purchase and use the full version of
WinXP (in whatever language you want) to perform a clean installation.
