Change in accents between Office 2000 and Office XP

I created a powerpoint presentation in office 2000 using foreign letter accents from the Times New Roman Special G1 character set. When displaying on a computer with Office XP, the characters have all changed, making the presentation useless. Is there any way to display this correctly? If not is there any way to find and replace the characters? I cannot cut and paste the characters from the original document into the Find field.

That font is apparently not installed on the other computer. On your Office
2000 system you can use a different font , or you can try going to Format >
Replace Font and select a new font in the "With:" box. I don't know if
Times New Roman Special G1 is embeddable for installing or editing, but if
it is you could embed it when you save the presentation on the first system.

Thank Sonia. Embedding the True Type fonts corrected the problem, and saved me alot of time. Gre
