Change Form Properties in Design Mode

Hoping someone can help. I searched the forum but didn't see a similar
problem (just my luck). Anyway, I modified the standard Outlook 2003
contact form and reset all my contacts to use it, but Outlook, in its
infinite wisdom, changed the icons from contact icons to post icons (so
much for inheritence). Well I believe I just need to change the icon
properties of my form to fix this but I can't seem to get to them.

When I open my new form (or the standard contact form) in design mode,
the menu choice "Properties" in the "Form" menu is grayed out
(inaccessible). I can get to the "Advanced Properties" and everything
else I've tried, but the "Properties" choice remains grayed out no
matter what I do and it's driving me nuts. I know it's probably
operator error, but could someone point me in the right direction?

Clicking on the Properties tab doesn't work? All the other tabs are
accessible?
