Hi there

How can I change the Documents and Settings folders to other disk?
so when I need to reinstall XP the process wouldn't be that traumatic to
restore user's stuff

best regards,
TIA

It depends how big the folder is.
If it doesn't have a lot of files, you could try burning the folder to one
or two DVD's (set up to record data).
If you have a large number of files then probably the best way is to
purchase a new hard drive, install it and make it master and leave your old
drive in the case making it slave.
Once you've installed XP on the new drive, transfer the old drive files to
the 'Documents and files' folder.
You can only transfer your documents, photos, videos, music and email
folders. Other settings files will need to be re-written because the
registry will not be updated during transfer.
Hope this helps.
