change decimal display of average

i've got a report that displays a set of turnaround times,
and then averages these times (thank you, Marsh!).
currently the average figure is displaying numerous
decimal places, how can i change this to 2? i've tried
right clicking on the text box, selecting properties, and
changing the decimal places to 2, but it's not working
(when i leave design view, it's still displaying numerous
decimal places, and when i go back into properties it's
reverted back to Auto). i know this is just a cosmetic
issue, but it's bugging me!

Try also change the Format Property to Standard.

Alex,

In the properties box, change the number format from General to Fixed. Then
set your decimal places and it should work.
