How would I CHANGE ATTRIBUTES on Windows XP Pro with SP2? [I have a
program "acmain.exe", but it does not work]. I even logged off...to no
avail.

Thanks,

Change Attributes of.....
Please be more specific.

I use Attribute Changer 5 myself - it works great..
(That's your "acmain.exe" I assume.)

What files/folders are you trying to change? Why? Etc..

When I want to change a file's attributes I go into command mode by
Start>Run and then enter 'cmd' and click OK,

Navigate to the directory you want by using 'cd' (change directory).

Then I use 'attrib'. Enter 'attrib /?' for details of how to use it.

Hope this helps.
