I have a personal web site hosted by my ISP. On the
bottom of most pages I have a CGI script counter which
has always worked fine.
Since changing to new computer - now XP and IE6 - the
counters no longer work on my machine although they do
work on other people's machines. I get "888888" instead
of the real count.
I don't understand properly how cgi scripts work. I have
gone through every security setting I can find but none
seem to fix the problem.
The script for the counter is ...
<img src="/cgi-bin/Count.cgi?
df=username.dat|dd=A|ft=0|display=counter"
align="absmiddle">
You can see the counter which will probably work for you
(or maybe two counters) on the bottom of this page...

new.htm
I would be very grateful for any help, the ISP says they
can't help "because it is an Internet Explorer problem".
Thanks
