CGI-Bin Folder

Dyane

I use FP 2003 and have a hosting account at Hostway (previously ValueWeb).
We have a shopping cart on the domain that uses cgi-bin scripting. I used to
be able to see the cgi-bin folder within FP. However, Hostway recently
updated their platforms and now the cgi-bin is not shown within FP. Instead
of having the cgi-bin folders within the domain directory, they are linked
one level up (their term). They tried putting a link within the domain
directory but it is still not viewable.

I need to work on the template files live on the server which are within the
cgi-bin folder. Hostway is saying that FP should be able to be configured to
see one level up. However, since they don't support MS programs, they
couldn't tell me how.

Does anyone have any idea about this?

Thanks

Hostway is wrong
- You can not see or edit any files above the root web in FP
Use a FTP program to download them and edit them
- plus Perl files should be uploaded in FTP anyway
