CF 2.0 SP1 installation above CF 2.0

Hi again group,

It's been a while since I last posted in the group.

My applications are running CF 2.0, but I've noticed that there's been
an uograde to CF 2.0 SP1.
And I've also read posts of people running into problems when
installing CF 2.0 SP1, CF 2.0 SP1 Patch and so on.

Therefore, I suppose CF2.0 SP1 installation:

1) "repairs" CF 2.0 from my PC so that errors detected are fixed.
Therefore this is development related, Visual Studio related in other
words.

2) installs CF 2.0 SP1 in the device through ActiveSync so that
application developed using CF 2.0 libraries can run in the device.

My question is: What redistributable should I then download and
install? Tried CF 2.0 SP1 but throwed me an error, therefore I reach
the patch download and the finally the group.

In fact, I first wanted to be sure of what I should install. I don't
have time to reinstall all my development environment in case anything
goes wrong. And incerely, does it deserve installing this SP1 upgrade?

Thanks very much in advance.

As nobody answered me, finally tried myself:

Running CF 2.0 SP1 installation throwed me an error, therefore I
finally installed CF 2.0 SP1 PATCH from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...87-9B5E-40C6-8D10-D3A43E5856B2&displaylang=en.

This redistributable installs CF 2.0 SP1 libraries in the development
PC. The DLLs are dated on June 2006. Then, when deploying CF 2.0
applications to your device, CF 2.0 SP1 will be deployed along with the
application. This way you finally get CF 2.0 SP1 libraries also
installed in the device.

After a soft-reset and some tension seconds, all my environment and
older applications in the device seem to work properly.

Regards.
