centrino temperature

hi does anyone know what sort of temperature i should expect from a centrino
laptop CPU M740 its 1.73 Ghz, ive got a feeling that its overheating, idle
it sits about 50 on load it goes up to almost 65 deg c

is this a tad too hot ???

Have you checked the CPU for dust bunnies?

Within specs, but the idle temp is on the warm side. Is this a Toshiba
notebook by any chance ? How is the BIOS power handling setup ?
I would download & install Mobile Meter, it can help by showing the
actual CPU clocking and you can monitor if the Centrino is stepping
down or staying at full clock speed.
