Central Control of Anti-Spyware product

Are there any plans to allow central control of the Microsoft Anti-Spyware
product e.g via Group Policy ?

The ability to collate information centrally, to allow reports to be
produced on syware infections for all machines on a network, would also be
very useful.

Indeed, I believe there are.

Look for more information about this to be available at some point after
beta2 is available, which is expected before March 31.

In particular, look into this new subscription product from Microsoft:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserversystem/solutions/security/clientprotection/default.mspx

I'm not sure this will be the only means of such control, but I do expect
this product to include the kinds of facilities you mention with regards to
Windows Defender (the new name for Microsoft Antispyware beta2)
