cells won't calculate

Hi. I am stumped. Wether I put in formula's or numbers
in a cell they are ignored by formulas that calculate
depending on them?

They aren't protected, I tried clearing them, then
deleting the whole section and starting over.

If I copy a formula into the cells from other cells that
work. Even though the formulas adjusted the ranges the
formula result is from the origonal cell.

Okay, and don't take this the wrong way but, is your
default calculation method set to MANUAL under the
TOOLS/OPTION settings? If your on automatic, check the
format of the cell and make sure its not set to TEXT. If
that isn't it, run the TOOLS/FORMULA AUDITING and trace
the dependents on the formula that should be calling the
cell you can't get to work. Just some suggestions.
