Hello All!
I've been working on this all afternoon and know there is
an answer, just cant come up with it. This is worksheet
1:
a 1
b 2
z 3
d 4
m 5
On worksheet 2, in cell B2 I want to reference cell C3
from the first sheet, which is the number 3. I want B2
in the second sheet to always reference to whatever
matches with "Z", but when I sort the first worksheet
alphabetically, it still references C3 on the first
sheet. I want it to now reference B5 on the first sheet,
because that's where it ended up after sorting. I add and
delete rows all the time and need to re-alphabetize them
each time, but want them to match what I am referencing
on the second sheet. In reality, I have 18 sheets with
over 500 rows on each sheet, so I want to make sure I
have the right formula before I start messing with it.
What kind of a formula or reference do I need to use?
