The device, \Device\CdRom0, has a bad block.
I see the above error in the Event Viewer.
It happens every time I try to burn an audio cd.
The Event ID is 7.
Record Now says the cd was successful but it won't play
on a cd player and locks up the computer it I try to play
it on it.
Anyone else had this problem?

.
Start/My Computer/check "Devices with removable storage"
and see if your CD-ROM is listed. If it is, rightclick
it and click properties. Check "AutoPlay" and hardware
settings to troubleshoot. If it is not listed, you will
need to reinstall it with your CD. Go to below website
click on "C" and scroll down to CD-CD-RW:
Windows XP from A-Z
