CD Writing Wizard-->doesn't see CD-R

Whenever I try to copy files to CD using the CD Writing
Wizard, it says that I need to put a CD-R or CD-RW in the
drive. I have tried multiple brands with no avail. The
same has happened to a friend on her computer. We're both
running Windows XP Home.

Is recording enabled? Right-click the CD drive letter, click PROPERTIES,
then click the RECORD tab. Also, look over this info...
