CD RW after upgrade to XP

Needing Help

I just upgraded to Windows XP Pro from Windows 2000 Pro.
I have a cd burner that I use for, among other things,
backing up my quicken and quickbooks files. I use a CD-
RW for those backups. Now that I've switched to Windows
XP I can't read those CD-RWs. If I lose all that data,
I'll be screwed.

check cd/rw vendor for updated xp drivers.
most hardware does not work under ALL software.

That's odd. I use Nero 5.5 and the latest version of INCD. XP has no
problem reading INCD's UDF format on the R/W CD for files similar. Am using
in INCD in Win98SE environment. But then again, I did not "upgrade", I
simply wrote another partition for the XP install.

If you were using an older version of packetwriting software this can happen
if the disks were not finalized. What version of packetwriting software did
you use when you formatted the disks?
