Hello, since I upgraded from Win2K to WinXP I am not able
to access my CD-ROM drive. I can not see it within
Windows Explorer and within Device Manager is has a "!" -
please help.

Thanks

I would suggest going to the CD-Rom manufacture website
and download the lastest driver. Follow the instructions
that come with driver.

You may need to install the driver in Device Manager.
Select the device from the list and update driver. Hope
that works for you...

Yea, I called the manufacturer and they said it's the OS
because we could see the CD-ROM in the BIOS and therefore
to the manufacturer the CD-Rom is working.

Unfortunately the CD-Rom does not come with any drives...

Oh well... thanks for your help

This has not worked... I doubled clicked the EXE... it
didn't look like it did much - rebooted my machine and CD-
Rom was still not being shown in the Windows explorer.

(

Any other suggestions?

Roberta,

You should have received a confirmation from the program that it had done
its job, and been told that you needed to reboot.
