Help needed, my father is running win ME and has a opti storage POCRW5224 (yes I made him pull it out) cd/dvd. First his computer did not recognise this as a cd writer so I thought he may need a driver. So whilst I was looking for a driver (which someone then told me I didn't need) he downloaded and run 471A2.exe and now his sound also doesn't work.. sigh.. He wants me to fix it (he's old) and I'm no techie. I figured go backwards but I have no clue what the heck it was he installed or where it put the file. If anyone can help that would be great at the very least I might be able to get his sound back then at least I'm back to square 1.

Thats probably what it is and you can find it on your pc . By going Start >Search and then follow the prompts for info .
