CD Burning Problem

Dave Peppin

I had a bunch of mp3s on my hard drive, then joined
napster and downloaded a bunch of wma files. I then used
NTI CD Maker 2000 Plus to burn the CD. I burned 160
songs onto the CD, and started listeneng to it on my
Roxio CD player at work. An hour or so into the CD, it
starts cutting out after a split second of the song and I
hear nothing. I skip to the next song, same thing.
Eventually I realize it isn't playing any of the wma
files, only the mp3s. The player says it supports both
types of files. So I email Napster and ask them, and
they saty to try recording the same CD using Windows
Media Player and see if that fixes the problem. But WMP
is so friggin user-unfriendly, all it makes me do is
shout the F word over and over. All this playlist BS,
ughh. I just want to copy all the songs from a specific
folder (called "Mixed CD") onto the disc. But is there
an option to do that? No. I can't just add files from
one folder to a playlist. It just lets me do it by name
of the artist. Why can't I do it by name of folder, and
name of file (as opposed to artists name)?
Anyway my question is: Has anyone had a similar problem
with wma files no playing, and how can I solve the
problem without having to use WMP?

Hi, DRM'ed WMA's can only be burned with a few programs. Try Roxio's Easy
CD/DVD Creator.
