CD Burner died before I could finalise a cd

I have a ZipCD 650 that stoped working before I could finalise a CD that I
put a bunch of data on it before I got a laptop with XP. My Laptop has a CD
burner in it, and I was wondering if I could use some burner software to view
the CD or to finalise the CD. Is this possible?

Thanks,
JoshR

Give it a try. If it does not work, burn a new CD. It only
costs a few cents!

What software was used to create it?

If it was the windows built in burner it would probably work, just make sure
you can see the files on the disk in explorer first.

Any other software like nero, try creating a new compilation and select
"continue multisession disk".

When you insert the disk the existing files should appear in the compilation
window.

If you can see the files on another PC, your best to copy the files to the
HDD first, just in case the CDs TOC gets overwritten and the old files
"disappear" from the disk after finalising or adding files.
