CD autoejects after Nero burn/ how to stop ??

I have Nero Back It Up. There is a setting that you can check as to
whether or not to eject the cd after recording. I have it set NOT to
eject.

After each backup recording, the cd tray ejects. I would like VERY much to
be able to stop this, as I back up some stuff several times a day.

I went to My Computer ,and looked at the Properties of this drive. I set it
NOT to eject the cd after recording. Yet, it still ejects !!

Any ideas of how to stop this please ?? I will appreciate a good tip on
this. I tried the Nero help site, but got no response.

Thanks !!

With Nero 6 go to File > Preferences > Expert Features.
Check mark "Do not eject the disc after burn....."

Let us know, if this information is useful to you.

Some optical drives are constructed such that you have
no choice - to complete the burn process and correctly
flush everything, the disc must be ejected.

I thought this had been taken care of years ago, but for
some drives, maybe not.

My advice: live with it. It is NOT significant, just annoying,
and things you do to try to fix it may screw your system over.

Yes, I have made the Nero adjustment setting that says the disk should NOT
eject, but it still does.

Another posted said I may have to live with it. I hope not. It is a
DAILY irritant. Would not be so bad if it were once a week. Then, when
I close the tray, it automatically boots up what is on the cd. I have also
tried to stop that, but cannot.

Check your boot priority settings in BIOS.

Figures. I sent a tech support request to Nero a while back, they didn't
get back to me for over a week and the advice was pure crap, didn't
relate to what I asked about at all.

Solution to last item on automatic startup of CD when reinserted:
Download TweakUI from Microsoft
Run the program
Under My Computer, expand box
Under Auto Play, expand box
Select Type
Uncheck "Enable Autoplay for CD's and DVD's"

Article from a web-site
===============

After burning finished - Reset drive by ejecting and loading CD-R: (Default:
Enabled, Recommended: Disabled) After the writing or testing is finished, EAC
will eject and load the CD. This is necessary for some writers to let them
know that the content of the CD has changed. Some drives even think that
after a test write the CD is not empty anymore, so you should specify this
option in that case. Since most people don't do a test write and want the CD
right after it's burned you better enable the next option.
