The card reader is a separate app within the peripheral you are running.
It could be in your printer or a separate card reader (stand alone).
Look in the bottom righthand corner of screen, probably next to the
clock, it should show an icon for the card reader. You can rightclick
the icon and click "Safely Remove Hardware" to deactivate it. It will
come up each time you run your unit, it is a safety feature, and use
it so you won't corrupt the drivers.
