capture problems

when I try to capture video with my JVC grd- 800 Dv Camera, the device is
found but when I try to proceed past the video setting page, I get an error
message "an interface has too many methods to fire events from" then
"unspecified error"

Sounds like you're trying to capture an MPEG file from the camcorder using a
USB connection..... you should be using a firewire connection with a
digital camcorder, and capturing it as full Digital Video (DV-AVI file)
