Capture NTSC Publish PAL - Is this possible ???

Hi all,

My father has returned from a holiday in the US, during which he purchased a
SONY MiniDV. It is a NTSC camera, but here in Australia we use the PAL
standard.

So my question .. Is it possible to capture the NTSC footage in WMM and then
publish to PAL?

Yes you can do this and in fact I do it quite often myself. Just go to
Tools...Options within MovieMaker and on the Advanced tab select the video
format you wish to publish the video to and MovieMaker will do the
conversion if necessary.
