Capture data from Business Contacts/ History, Then Include in Repo

Hi,

I've perused the tools and reporting capabilities in BCM 2007. I've not
been able to solve this though:

I'd like to capture the comments in the History section/ Business Contact
screen, and present them in a report. I see multiple ways to manipulate
reports, but haven't figured out how to include verbose comments from
Business Contact/ History.

Boss wants a weekly activity summary (hey I have a job for NOW) and the
reports templates are ideal only if I can capture the notes I entered in
history. I'm a newbie at this; sorry if I've butchered fundamental terms.

Thanks very much for any input,

Mike

When you need a specific report that is not among BCM's built-in
reports, your best bet is to create the report using Access's
reporting tool. Other users have used Excel, or, if they have a full
Sql Server package installed, Sql's reporting tool. BCM database is
managed by Sql Server, so tools that work with Sql Server should work
with the BCM database.

Thanks Luther....I'll definately explore Access; I have zippo experience with
it but will figure it out with a little help from y'all when needed.

I decided to use Excel for now since practically all database mgmt. programs
use/accept that file type.

Thanks again for your help!

Mike
