capitalization of first letter in each row

How do I stop Word 07 from trying to capitalize the first letter in each row.
I've tried /font/change case/sentence case
but it doesn't address this.
Thanks.

By "row" do you mean a table row or a line of text? In either case, the
settings are (or should be) at Office Button | Word Options | Proofing |
AutoCorrect Options. There are separate settings for sentences and table
cells.

But if Word is capitalizing the first letter of every line, it's because you
have pressed Enter at the end of the previous line, which creates a new
paragraph. Word, reasonably enough, assumes that the beginning of a
paragraph is also the beginning of a sentence. There are several ways around
this:

1. Don't press Enter at the end of every line. Instead, let Word wrap the
line naturally.

2. If you must begin a new line, use Shift+Enter to insert a line break
instead; this will not begin a new paragraph (this is the option to use if
you're starting a new line in a poem, for example).

3. If you must begin a new paragraph (in a bulleted list, for example),
short of disabling the AutoCorrect option, you can use Ctrl+Z to Undo the
action immediately after Word performs the AutoCorrection.
