Using XP. I recently cut and pasted pictures to a new folder. When opening
folder, the thumbnail is there (boat figure). No thumnail of actual picture
is showing. When trying to view it is a blank screen. I followed directions
as to running "regsvr32 shimgvw.dll' it ran successfully, but can still not
view the thumbnails. I also tried another viewer such as ifranview.com.
That also did not work.

I than attempted to delete them and the following error message occurs
"Error deleting file or folder" Cannot delte dad.jpp: Access is denied. Make
sure the disk is not full or write-protected, and that the file is not
currently in use"

I cannot even copy them because

I checked to make sure that they were not write-protected. Brand new 40gb
drive second time storing pictures on it.

I have also attempted to move them to another folder and access is deined"
Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected, and that
the file is not currently in use".

Any help would helpful, i have read everything posted and tried it!!!

Thanks for the assitance John. The orginal files are on a portable hard
drive, that has been sent in for repairs. I have attempted all your
suggestions, but to no avail. It seems that the pictures are locked in and
can not be moved.

If anyone has any other suggestions i am willing to try anything to see
them. I also noticed that when looking at the thumbnail, the pictures do not
have any deminsions associated with them? Never had that happened before!
