Can't unmute recording mic

hi guys,

yesterday i muted the mic-input at recording control because the other side
was getting feedback
but now i can't get it unmuted anymore
can someone help me out ?

what do i mean:
when you select the microsoft volume icon
options
properties
recording
microphone

Hi, Steven..I hope that i can be of assistents 2 you..Anyway at the very
bottom right hand corner of ur computer (at start up) there should be a
little "SPEAKER" icon in the desk bar "Very Bottom Rght" , rght click the
speaker icon and select the option "OPEN VOLUME CONTROL" there then shld be
otpions 2 adjust your settings for each device, including the "Mic" option,
if not then go 2 options in that same menu and select "PROPERTIES" and a
list of devices un-checked shld be present, ur going 2 select "MICROPHONE"
then from there all u do is select the option unmute, by "UN-CHECKING" the
box on the left next 2 microphone and this shld then fix ur mute problem.
